Flooding across the local area has meant that a number of trains being operated by First Great Western have been cancelled or severely delayed.
The flooding between Swindon and Chippenham means that fewer trains are able to run between these stations.
The following changes have been introduced to this afternoon’s services:
- Trains which depart London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads and call through Bath Spa are cancelled.
- Trains which depart Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington on the hour and call through Bath Spa are cancelled.
Some trains heading through Bath Spa station are also running up to 50 minutes late due to trains having to run slower through flooded areas.
