Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for information to trace a group of men who carried out an apparent road rage assault on a delivery driver in Bailbrook Lane in Bath last month.
He was parked and had got out of his van to talk to a woman in a silver sports utility vehicle (SUV) who was trying to drive past.
As they talked the delivery driver was assaulted by three men, who punched him to the face and body before getting into a black BMW 1 series car and driving off in the Larkhall direction.
The 28-year-old van driver was left shocked and bruised but did not need medical attention.
The attackers are described as black, in their mid-20s, of medium build and wearing dark hoody tops and trousers.
It happened at around 5.10pm on Wednesday 2nd December.
Officers have carried out house to house enquiries in Bailbrook Lane, but would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has any information – particularly the woman driver of the silver SUV who is believed to live locally.
Anyone who can help is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 5215054554.
