Two men have been arrested by Avon and Somerset Police after an 18-year-old man was stabbed near the Lower Bristol Road in the early hours of this morning.
The stabbing took place at just after 1am near the Esso petrol station.
The area on the Lower Bristol Road is still cordoned off by police as SOCO (Scenes of Crime Officers) investigate the scene.
The 18-year-old is believed to have been stabbed in the arm.
A fast South Western Ambulance Service RRV response vehicle attended the scene and transported the casualty to the RUH. The injury has been deemed not life threatening.
The two men arrested remain in custody at Bath’s Manvers Street police station.
