Six people have been arrested following an immigration raid by the Home Office at a property on Walcot Street in Bath yesterday morning.
Home Office Immigration Enforcement officers raided the address at 9.55am and arrested six Bangladeshi men.
The enforcement took place following intelligence on the men being passed to the Home Office.
All six of the men are now pending their removal from the United Kingdom back to Bangladesh.
Three of the men were arrested for overstaying their visas, one had fraudulently obtained leave to remain in the country and two had entered the UK illegally.
Immigration officers found one of the men hiding on the roof of the property and another in the attic.
A spokesperson from the Home Office said: “We would urge members of the public with detailed and specific information about immigration crime to contact us.”
