Police are appealing for help to identify a group of men who they believe may have information about the theft of a mobile phone from a music shop in Bath.

They went into Music Dynamics in Broad Street on Thursday afternoon, 14th August carrying clipboards and documentation saying they worked for an unnamed charity for the deaf.

Two of the men asked a woman member of staff for a donation.

Her phone was taken from behind the counter while she was looking at the paperwork and talking to one of the men about a book.

A third man in a bright blue jacket, who was not in the shop at the time, is believed to be part of the group and may be able to help with inquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bath police on 101 quoting crime reference number 83709/14. Officers are particularly interested to hear from staff at any other shops that the men may have entered.
