A second suspect has been arrested and released on police bail in connection with a robbery at the Post Office in Hinton Charterhouse on Friday 23rd September.
A 29-year-old man from Bath was arrested in Wiltshire at about 1pm on Wednesday 28th September.
He was transferred to Keynsham Police Centre for questioning and later released on police bail while the investigation continues.
A 26-year-old Bath man arrested on Saturday 24th September remains on police bail in connection with the incident.
The robbery involved a group of men who went into the Post Office at about 12.30pm on Friday 23rd September and demanded money. A quantity of cash was stolen.
No one was hurt in the incident, although staff were left shaken, and are being supported by officers.
Both men were also arrested and released on police bail in connection with a burglary in Midsomer Norton on Thursday 22nd September and non-dwelling burglary, relating to the damage to a shop front and ATM in Ebenezer Terrace, Bath, also on Thursday 22nd September.
