Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following two burglaries in Bath, both of which took place while the owners of the properties were at home.
The first incident happened at a property in the Batheaston area at around 9pm on 7th November while the second occurred at around 8.30pm the following day (8th November) in the Southdown area.
In both incidents a number of men, who had their faces covered and wore dark clothing, entered the property while the occupants were in before making off with jewellery. They are believed to have left in a vehicle.
Fortunately none of the victims were physically harmed in either of the burglaries.
One line of enquiry which officers are looking at is whether the victims had previously been targeted by rogue traders.
Officers are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles in the area, or a group of men dressed in dark clothing, around the time of either incident to get in touch via the 24-hour police enquiry number 101.
The call handler will need to be given the reference 5216248342.
