A man has been charged following a suspected drink-driving incident on the M4 that prompted more than a dozen calls from concerned motorists.

Avon & Somerset Police were first alerted at around 2pm on Sunday 19th April after members of the public reported a black Mercedes swerving across lanes on the westbound carriageway near junction 18 for Bath.
Specialist roads policing officers attended and safely brought the vehicle to a stop at 2.23pm between junctions 21 at Awkley and 22 at Pilning.
Police have now confirmed that Dorin Nicsan, 50, of Pearl Close, Bridgwater, has been charged with driving a vehicle while above the prescribed alcohol limit and driving without due care and attention.
He is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 1st June.
In their original statement, police said the information provided by the public had allowed officers to act quickly and that no collisions or injuries were reported.
