Avon and Somerset Police have issued the descriptions of three men they want to identify following a high value gold burglary in Bath yesterday evening.

At about 9.15pm on Friday, 15th September, a woman returned to her home in The Weal, Upper Weston, to find intruders inside.

She ran outside and a short time later three men ran past her out of the property and headed towards Eastfield Avenue.

Officers attended the scene and the victim discovered a quantity of expensive gold jewellery and a quantity of cash had been taken, specifically:

  • Thai gold solitaire ring
  • Diamond gold ring from Ernest Jones
  • Two gold rings with small diamond on them
  • Men’s solid Thai gold chain necklace with seven Buddha amulets
  • Women’s solid Thai gold necklace with a triangular gold Buddha amulet

All the men were white. The first was around 30 years old, 6ft, of large build with a big stomach, clean shaven and wearing black sports trousers and a black hooded top.

The second was similar to the first but had a mask over his nose and mouth, his hood was up and he was wearing gloves.

The third man was around the same age as the other two, about 5ft 6ins, of medium build, clean shaven and wearing black clothing.

Do you recognise these men? Did you see or hear anything suspicious in this area of Upper Weston on Friday evening?

If you can help, call Avon and Somerset Police on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5217211632.
