Bath police are taking the opportunity to issue a general warning to owners and tenants of commercial and private Georgian buildings and offices, following a number of walk-in burglaries since the middle of September.
The similarities are that they all took place during the day or early evening in Georgian buildings with communal period front doors.
Offices and rooms inside were searched and items, mostly computer equipment, mobiles and cash stolen.
People who use Georgian buildings are advised to check their locks and to review their security arrangements.
