Nick Richardson and his family, from Bradford on Avon, were recently chosen to receive a once-in-a-lifetime reward from NatWest as part of a campaign to thank some of the bank’s most loyal customers.
Nick, a NatWest customer for over 30 years, suffered an injury whilst serving in the Royal Navy which left him unable to work.
Nick and his family developed a strong relationship with their Premier Banking Manager, Emma Adams, who helped them make some important financial decisions as they adapted to Nick’s new life outside of the Royal Navy.
NatWest’s rewarding relationships campaign recognises some of the best two-way relationships the bank has developed with its customers.
As NatWest understands that rewarding relationships only work if you give something back in return, NatWest is surprising some of its reward account customers with special experiences to thank them for being loyal customers.
NatWest organised for Nick and his family to see his favourite rugby team, Bath, play London Irish in a special VIP box and topped this off by revealing they would also be jetting off on a dream holiday to Florida.
Commenting on the surprise, NatWest customer Nick Richardson said: “Emma has been such a supportive figure when times have been difficult and I’ve built a really great relationship with her.
“I had no idea what was going on when Emma came into the room with a rugby ball and couldn’t believe it when I read that NatWest were sending us all to Florida! I’ve been wanting to take the kids there for years and I can’t believe it’s actually happening!”
