Avon and Somerset Police have seized a quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be heroin, when officers carried out a Misuse of Drugs warrant at a flat in Snow Hill House yesterday.
Hundreds of discarded hypodermic needles were also found in the property.
The warrant followed local intelligence about suspected drugs activity.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested.
