A new serviced office company has launched in Bath to help businesses begin the transition back to working away from home.
The Bath Office Company, which offers space at four central locations in the city, is looking to work with businesses to enable hybrid working arrangements, traditional private offices, coworking spaces, meeting rooms and virtual office services.
With office rental costs one of the biggest financial tie-ins a business can face, and longer-term homeworking not practical for some companies, the serviced office industry is quickly growing.
Jamie Williams, Managing Director of Bath Office Company, said “While it has been, and still is a clearly challenging time for all, we are excited to launch our new offering and believe it’s what businesses will increasingly turn to as they look for more flexible alternatives to big open plan spaces on long leases.
“We believe larger firms from a variety of sectors, who are looking to consolidate office space while still accommodating an element of home working will be among those attracted to what we offer.
“Likewise, following recent economic turbulence we are anticipating a surge in start-up and freelancer activity, with many looking for affordable ways to get their name on the map.
“We can cater for them now and will be able help them seamlessly expand into larger offices as they grow.”
Occupiers within Bath Office Company’s buildings will benefit from super fast internet, VOIP telephony services and cleaning, storage and virtual services.
It has also partnered with neighbour Stanza Fitness in Trim Street as their health partner, to offer clients 25% off monthly membership with no joining fee.
Bath Office Company’s locations include sites on Old Bond Street, Argyle Street, Princes Street and Chapel Row.
