Mogers Drewett, the South West based law firm with offices in Bath, Sherborne, Wells and Frome, have strengthened its Commercial Property team with two key appointments.

Emma Wyatt joins the Bath office as Solicitor, and Fiona Oliver joins the Sherborne office as Legal Assistant.

The firm has also promoted Kim Pocock to the position of Legal Assistant at the Wells office.

Talking about the new appointments Justin Hopkins, who heads up the Commercial Property team at Mogers Drewett, said: “Commercial Property is a fundamental strength of the business and our strong reputation is built on an ability to understand our clients’ commercial property businesses, as well as an ability to adopt an innovative and flexible approach.

“Our service is relationship-driven, as we genuinely believe that business works best by creating long-term relationships built on mutual respect and trust.

“The addition of Emma and Fiona, who both have strong commercial track records and proven ability in building strong relationships, will only further strengthen the business in this key area.

“We are delighted to have them join us and are sure they will further help develop our Commercial Property business in Bath and Sherborne.

“We are also really excited about Kim Pocock’s promotion in the Wells office which further enhances our offering in and around the Mendips. ”

Emma Wyatt who will be working on a range of land development transactions brings experience in acquisitions and disposals of land, and transfers of public open spaces gained during her time with a large local authority.

Fiona Oliver is an experienced Legal Assistant and brings substantial experience in managing the real estate portfolio of a large hospitality chain.

At Mogers Drewett, Fiona will be dealing with all aspects of commercial property matters including; business lease renewals for landlord and tenant retail and corporate occupiers; landlord and tenant property transactions; freehold acquisitions and disposals; and advice on the property aspects on corporate transactions.

Kim Pocock has been with Dyne Drewett (now Mogers Drewett) since 2002.

With these new recruits the Commercial Property team at Mogers Drewett now stands at 9 lawyers across the offices.
