Potential buyers at Bath’s new Holburne Park development soon won’t have to imagine what their future home could look like, thanks to a new app that will bring the neighbourhood to life.
The new virtual reality experience is available to visitors in the Marketing Pavilion via headsets, allowing them to see how Holburne Park will look once completed.
The immersive app can zoom in and out on various points of interest such as current houses for sale and street layout.
The app is also available as an interactive presentation on an iPad, where users can see the layout of the development and tap into local amenities such as transport routes and local schools.
Potential buyers can view 360-degree CGI imagery of the new properties and explore an interactive 3D digital model of the entire development, both from the ground and from above.
Francis Firmstone, director of Hardrock Developments, explained: “We understand that buying a new home is one of the biggest decisions you can make and choosing the right location and property isn’t always easy to do from a drawing.
“The application was created to offer a real insight into what it might be like to live at Holburne Park – not just the homes themselves but the lifestyle its fantastic location will also offer.”
With over 90% of the homes built in the first release now sold, the houses in the next phase of Holburne Park range from four-bedroom three storey-terraced houses and five-bedroom four storey homes to five or six-bedroom detached villas.
The new neighbourhood will be constructed in phases over the next three years and when complete, will provide over 200 new homes for Bath, from one-bedroom apartments to six-bedroom detached villas on the open market.
