South West law firm Mogers Drewett has strengthened its Construction & Dispute Resolution team with the appointment of solicitor Jake Stacey to their Bath office.

With ten years’ experience in construction disputes, commercial litigation and property disputes, policyholder insurance disputes and professional negligence claims, Jake is joining the Commercial Disputes Team to strengthen the Mogers Drewett offering to the regional construction industry, but at the same time reinforcing the wider commercial disputes offer of the firm.

Speaking about the new appointment Maeve England, who is a Partner and Head of Construction & Dispute Resolution at Mogers Drewett said: “Jake brings a great deal of experience and specialist knowledge to the team at a crucial time for the firm and the regional construction industry.

“The sector is under a great deal of pressure at the moment and consequently developers, civil engineers and construction companies need the support of a law firm that can understand the issues and the marketplace, and which can work alongside them to resolve the inevitable problems and challenges they face.

‘We are delighted to welcome Jake to the team, and pleased that our offer to this challenging market place is even stronger.”
