Charity Crimestoppers is appealing for the public’s help to identify a number of men who used fake £50 notes in Bath in January.

The incident happened between 14.45 – 15.10 on Monday 27th January at McColls on Bathwick Street in Bath.

CCTV shows the three men entering separately. The first two men make a purchase using a counterfeit £50 note.

The third man does not as the cashier has insufficient change in the till.

They are described as white and in their 20-30’s, of stocky build and have Irish accents.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact Crimestoppers immediately by calling 0800 555 111.
