Staff and volunteers of the RUH have come together to record the song ‘Perfect Change Day’ based on the Lou Reed classic.

The song, which is now available to view on YouTube was created to encourage people to make pledges for the national movement NHS Change Day.

Chief Executive James Scott said” “We hope the video will encourage more people to make a pledge for NHS Change Day.

“I am very proud of all the staff and volunteers who came together to record the song and make pledges; staff were really enthusiastic and for a lot of us singing on film is something completely out of our comfort zone.”

NHS Change Day was started in 2013 by a small group of clinicians with a simple aim: to do something different to make the NHS a little better or a lot better, for one day or every day.
