The Blue & Gold lost for the 11th time in 13 league matches when they visited Birmingham Panthers on Saturday 9th May to leave them at the foot of the table but only a point adrift of the second-bottom Dragons.
An additional stand is being opened at Team Bath Arena on Saturday to accommodate the demand for tickets.
Centre-pass will be at 3pm and remaining seats, priced from £12 to £20, are available to purchase at netball.teambath.com/tickets
The Blue & Gold finished runners-up in the league last year and had been hoping to go one better and secure the title this time around.
So 2026 has been frustrating for Team Bath in terms of results and injuries.
But their performance level has been high in recent weeks – and experienced mid-courter Ellie Ervine says they want to end the campaign strongly.
She said: “We haven’t got the results that we wanted but we go into every game thinking afresh and ready to push on.
“We need to make sure we’re proud of each performance and each other, to not be disappointed when we walk off that court even if we are on the wrong side of the scoreline.
“Those are the main things we’re aiming for – the small wins and building the foundations for next season.”
Ervine thanked the Team Bath fans for their wonderful support during a difficult campaign.
She said: “The Blue & Gold fans are just the best in the world. The fan base that was there when we were in the Super League, they still want to watch and enjoy live, high-level netball and they have really turned out for us.”
Team Bath won their last home match in front of a capacity crowd, against NIC Leeds Rhinos on Friday 17th April, and will go into this weekend’s fixture on the back of two good performances on the road against title-chasing opposition.
After a 55-51 defeat against London Mavericks in Brighton, East Sussex, on Saturday 25th April, the Blue & Gold travelled to the Midlands to face a Panthers side who had won eight consecutive matches since losing at Team Bath Arena in early March.
There was very little between the teams in the first half, Birmingham edging the opening quarter 22-19 before the sides scored 12 goals apiece in the second period to make it 34-31 to the hosts at the interval.
The third quarter at the Nechells Wellbeing Centre was decisive as the Panthers stretched the gap to 56-47.
But Team Bath kept battling and the fourth quarter finished all square at 15-15, the Panthers completing a 71-62 victory.
