The Blue & Gold had such high hopes at the start of the campaign, with the aim for last year’s runners-up being winning the championship in 2026.

But the side from the University of Bath find themselves at the bottom of the table after 10 matches, their lone victory coming against Birmingham Panthers on Friday 6th March.

Team Bath have five points – one fewer than second-bottom LexisNexis Dragons, who have played nine times.

Thunder’s Caitlin Sharkey had a 95% shooting rate to earn her the player-of-the-match honours in the Round 11 encounter with the Blue & Gold.

There was better fortune for one of the three Team Bath sides competing against London Mavericks at Lady Eleanor Hollies School, Hampton, on 11th April.

Team Bath U19s secured a 46-43 success in the closing round of the Netball Performance League, Rae N the Blue & Gold players’ player of the match.

The winners’ coaches named Rhianna G and Neve M their joint star performers, and the Blue & Gold’s Immy B was selected as player of the match by the Mavericks.

Team Bath U17s lost 54-34 to the Mavericks in their Netball Performance League finale, Maisie B and Tansy G jointly selected as the Blue & Gold players’ player of the match.

Tansy was also the coaches’ top player, and Maisie also earned top marks from the opposition.

The Blue & Gold’s Junior Player Development Programme North team were beaten 58-43 by the Mavericks, Gracie T and Summer L picked as Team Bath’s key players by the home club.

Summer was also the Team Bath players’ player of the match and Eva H was the coaches’ pick.

While the U19s and U17s are now gearing up for their respective Netball Performance League tournaments in July, the NXT Gen League team are preparing to entertain NIC Leeds Rhinos at Team Bath Arena on Friday 17th April (7pm).

Remaining tickets for the clash with West Yorkshire side are available here.
