Avon and Somerset Police are continuing with their enquiries to locate missing local 13-year-old girl Phoebe Lock, and have released a new photo to help.
Phoebe was last seen at her home in Leigh-on-Mendip at around 9pm on Wednesday night (21/5).
She also has family in the Bath area.
Det Insp Chris Palmer said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Phoebe’s welfare and believe she may be with an older boy who she has met recently.
“We are making enquiries nationally as Phoebe could be anywhere in the country and our priority is to make sure she is safe and well.
“Her family are understandably very worried and we are keeping them updated on the progress of our investigation.
“My message to Phoebe is ‘you aren’t in any trouble, we just want you to get in touch with us, or a member of your family, as soon as you can to let us know you are okay’.
Phoebe is described as white, 5ft 8ins, with very long light brown hair and she wears purple framed glasses.
