The Bath City Outer police team says it is in response to ongoing problems with youths coming into Bath on stolen bikes from Bristol and causing issues.
The team held a pop-up event on the Railway Path near Brassmill Lane on Sunday afternoon, when more than 30 cycles were registered in under three hours.
Registration helps prevent and recover bike thefts.
There will also be a bike-marking event on Wednesday 24th April at Brunel Square in Bath from 8am to 10am, organised by Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) from both the Avon & Somerset force and British Transport Police.
Meanwhile, the Bath City Outer team are holding a beat surgery this Friday, 26th April, at Weston Free Church from 9am to 10am.
There will be another one on Saturday 4th May from 10am to 11am at the community hub in Eastfield Avenue.
