Avon and Somerset Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was run over by a taxi near Bath.
Officers were called to the collision between the taxi and pedestrian on the A367 Junction with the B3115 between Bath and Peasedown St John at 2.50am on Sunday morning.
The 19-year-old man sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital. He remains in a stable but serious condition. He is being treated in the trauma unit of Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
The driver of the taxi stopped at the scene and nobody has been arrested regarding the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
They would particularly like to speak to the driver of a white Ford Galaxy taxi which was driving out of Bath near the scene at around 2.35am and the driver of a silver Volkswagen.
