‘From Carnegie Hall to Keynsham’ features the 28-year-old South Korean-British pianist who spent her early years in Bristol and Bath.
The evening is being hosted by Keynsham Concerts, a small voluntary and not-for-profit group that brings sell-out high-quality classical music concerts to the town, including the sell-out Stringfever concert in March.
Mickleburgh Musical Instruments has sponsored the recital.
Nurry began studying the piano at the age of six with her mother, and three years later won her first concerto competition.
She attended the Royal College of Music, where she was awarded the Milstein Award. She also studied at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul.
Nurry, who spends her time between Bath and London, has played across the UK, Europe, Asia and West Africa, and last year gave a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York.
She is regarded as one of the most dynamic pianists of her generation and has played on BBC Radio 3 with her piano trio, Trio Rouge.
Grammy-winning pianist Emanuel Ax has described Nurry Lee as a “wonderful pianist”.
Nurry is currently working on releasing a new album and her future aspirations include playing with orchestras and performing on some of the greatest concert stages across the world.
The concert at The Space is at 7pm for 7.30pm. Nurry will be playing a selection of music by Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Ravel and Liszt.
There will be a bar with refreshments available pre-performance and during the interval.
