Police Appeal For Info After Sexual Assault In Bath

Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are appealing for information about a sexual assault on a 22-year-old woman in Julian Road last week.

It happened between 2.30-3am on Thursday 1st May as the woman walked along the road, at the junction with Harley Street.

A man grabbed her hair from behind and assaulted her.

She then ran off home and reported the attack to police.

The suspect was about 6ft tall and was wearing a dark-coloured hoody.

He had facial stubble and spoke with a local accent.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bath CID on 101 quoting crime reference number 43517/14.
