Free sessions to help those having difficulty to remember have been organised by Sirona, with new equipment being made available to make things a little easier.

Equipment is now available on a free trial for local people

If you are caring for a loved one and are concerned about their safety then this would be a great session for them to find out what help is available.

There are a range of aids and products available all of which are suitable for those who struggle to remember to keep in touch, to keep appointments, to take medication, to eat or drink regularly, to know the day, date or time and how to get out and about safely.

One particularly popular device is the innovative memory phone which can be provided on trial free for anyone who is  resident or registered with a GP in Bath and North East Somerset.

The phones have pictures of key family members or friends for those with memory difficulties to press rather than trying to remember numbers.

The aim of all the products is to provide peace of mind for family and friends whilst helping an individual to maintain their independence.

The sessions are being held on Monday 2nd March and Monday 9th March at Charlton House, Hawthorns Lane, Keynsham – and appointments are required.
