An access road to some public car parks at the Royal United Hospital in Bath is to close temporarily next week, for essential work to be carried out on the new car park at the Weston site.

It will be closed from Monday 8th August – Wednesday 10th August while further essential works are carried out during construction of the hospital’s new 300-space car park, opening in September.

Access to the main entrance drop-off point, bus stops, Blue Badge car park, car park 1A and the Princess Anne maternity wing car park (P4) will be unaffected.

For all other car parks on site, patients, visitors and staff will have to use the Penn Hill Road entrance.

Diversion and information signs will be in place.

The Royal United Hospital have apologised in advance for any inconvenience.
