Thousands of pounds worth of cars have been destroyed after a fire at a car showroom in Bath early this morning.
Avon Fire and Rescue crews received reports of the fire at Allen Kia on the Lower Bristol Road at around 3.40am.
Three fire engines from Bath’s fire station and one from Brislington attended the fire, which had consumed four vehicles on the forecourt.
Firefighters used high pressure hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire and prevent it spreading into the building.
The front of the building has been damaged by the flames, with some of the fascias and windows being burnt.
It is believed that police and fire investigation officers will be on scene this morning to establish the cause of the incident.
