The A46 has been closed in both directions this morning following what has been described as a ‘serious collision’ between J18 of the M4 and the A420 Cold Ashton roundabout.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene of the collision, which involved two vehicles.
Traffic is currently being diverted around area, however long delays are starting to build.
South Western Ambulance Service say they responded with an ambulance, air ambulance critical care car and an operations manager. Two people were taken to hospital.
Highways England have urged road users to consider alternative routes for their journeys if possible.

There are delays of around 10 minutes heading northbound on the A46 to the A420 Cold Ashton Roundabout.
The road is expected to reopen by 12pm, according to Highways England.
12pm update: Vehicle recovery has been completed and carriageway clear up is now under way. The road is expected to reopen soon.
