Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after an arson attack on a flat in Bath at the weekend, in which the front door of the property was set alight.
The front door of a flat at Dunster House, Meare Road, was set alight at approximately 11pm on Sunday (15th November).
It appears that letters left in the letterbox were set on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by a member of the public and the fire service who also attended.
The flat is on the second floor at the end of a block of flats and shares a stairwell with 11 other flats.
Officers are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident to come forward now and call them on 101 quoting crime reference number 5215041744.
