Five warrants without bail are issued after no-shows at Bath court

Bath magistrates ordered warrants for arrest without bail for five people who failed to attend their scheduled hearings on Monday 17th November.

William Delahunty, 34, of Grosvenor Place in Bath, was due to be sentenced for a series of thefts in 2025 from TK Maxx in the city.

George Chapman, 28, of The Weavers in Beckington in Somerset, faces a charge of possessing cannabis in Shaftesbury Avenue in Bath on 16th July.

Melanie Simmerson, 54, of Longmead Terrace in Bath, is accused of stealing £232 worth of clothing and food from Marks & Spencer in the city on 10th September.

Neil Duncan, 56, of Pitman House in Moorfields Road in Bath, has been charged with a series of offences in October relating to public order and shoplifting.

Christine Peacock, 54, of Belvedere in Bath, is accused of stealing meat worth £150 from a Waitrose store in Bristol on 19th August.
