A man from Twerton has been fined by magistrates for a public order offence and for failing to turn up for a court appearance.

Ian Sams, of Dartmouth Avenue, appeared in custody at Bath Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 5th November.
A warrant without bail had been issued for his arrest after he failed to attend a court hearing on 29th October.
Sams admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Bath on 8th October, as well as the failure to surrender on 29th October.
The 28-year-old was fined £80 for failing to surrender and a further £40 for the initial public order offence.
He was also ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £48 surcharge.
