Avon and Somerset Police have charged a 28-year-old man from Bath in connection with an aggravated burglary in Radstock, in which a gun was involved.
The burglary happened at a property in Hawthorn Road in the early hours of Friday 24th June.
Two women who were in the property were injured during the incident – one of them required treatment for injuries to her face and neck. She’s since been discharged from hospital.
Ben Wiles, of Kewstoke Road, Bath, has been charged with aggravated burglary, wounding and possession of a firearm with intent.
He appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (2nd July) and was remanded in custody to next appear before Bristol Crown Court on 27th July.
