Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following an incident in Bath last week in which a 15-year-old boy was stabbed.

A policeman holding a radio

The victim, who was with two of his friends, was walking in a park between Rosewarn Close and Haycombe Drive between 5.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday 27th December when he was attacked by two men.

One of the men grabbed him while the other stabbed him with a knife. His injuries are not life-threatening.

The offenders, who ran off towards Haycombe Drive, had a small dog with them.

Do you have any information about this assault? Did you see two men wearing all dark clothing in this area around the time of the incident? Do you know who these men are?

If you can help, call Investigations on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5217294257.

If you don’t want to speak to the police, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 101.

They never ask for your name or trace your call. You can also give information 100 per cent anonymously at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
