The Council is hosting their annual special festive memorial service at Haycombe Cemetery to give local residents the chance to remember their loved ones.
At the service, which is open to all, everyone will have the chance to light a candle and place a tag on the Christmas tree in memory of loved ones.
Also taking part in the ceremony will be the Chairman of the Council and representatives from the local community.
Chairman of Bath & North East Somerset Council, Councillor Neil Butters, said, “Christmas is often the most difficult time of year for people whose close friends and relatives have died. This celebration of their lives can make so much difference to the bereaved, particularly the personal touch that Haycombe offers at this service.”
Refreshments and mince pies will be available after the service.
The service will take place on Sunday 8th December at 3pm in the Top Chapel of Haycombe Cemetery and Crematorium.
