Bath & North East Somerset Council is in the process of locally consulting on proposals to change the way Children’s Centre services are delivered across the area.

They are not proposing to close any Children’s Centres; however, they are considering proposals to:

  • Target services to those who need them the most;
  • Reduce administration and management;
  • Change the opening times of some Children’s Centres.

If you are someone who uses Children Centre Services or has an interest in these services, and haven’t responded yet, then the Council are keen to hear from you.

Questionnaires and leaflets containing further information about the changes are on display and available in all Children Centres, One Stop Shops and Libraries.

The on-line questionnaire features on the front page of the Council’s website www.bathnes.gov.uk.

It’s important that the Council take your views into account when making decisions, and the feedback from this consultation will be considered by the Council, alongside the proposals, later this year.

The consultation about the proposals for Children’s Centres runs until Friday 6th June 2014.
