Vist Bath and Hotel Indigo Bath have announced a new three-year partnership for the Bath Christmas Market, which will see the new hotel become a hotspot for visitors to the city during the festive season.
The partnership will offer an opportunity to welcome Hotel Indigo Bath to the city, support Bath Christmas Market and promote Bath as a festive break destination to a wide audience.
Hotel Indigo Bath, which is owned and managed by the St James’s Hotel Group, will be a 166-bedroom boutique hotel located in the centre of Bath.
Hotel Indigo is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and offers travellers an ‘inspiring experience’, completely tailored to the local area.
The partnership with Hotel Indigo Bath will give Visit Bath the opportunity to promote the Bath Christmas Market to a huge audience of potential festive break visitors.
In 2017, an estimated 409,000 people visited Bath Christmas Market, generating an associated additional spend of £29.4 million across the city, the highest ever in the market’s 17-year history and a 40% increase on 2016.
The partnership will see The Elder Restaurant, located at Hotel Indigo Bath, take up a chalet at Bath Christmas Market and showcase their new restaurant concept by Executive Chef, Mike Robinson, who is an industry leader in wild food and sustainability.
Hotel Indigo Bath will also feature in Visit Bath’s planned marketing activity for the campaign, including a feature on both the Visit Bath and Bath Christmas Market website, dedicated social media posts, out of home city dressing and the Bath Christmas Market Guide.
