Two people have been arrested, and suspected class A drugs have been seized, following a raid at a flat in Northampton Street in Bath early this morning.
Officers forced entry to the address just before 9am today, Tuesday 24th July, to carry out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin with intent to supply and a woman was arrested on suspicion of supplying heroin.
A quantity of cannabis and cash and a number of mobile phones were also seized from the flat, while about 60 wraps of suspected heroin were found in a courtyard below.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Sarah Dinnis said: “We know that drug dealing causes misery for people living nearby, with users coming and going at all hours and anti-social behaviour.
“We also know that drugs fuel crimes such as shoplifting, theft from cars and burglary, with users even stealing from family and friends.
