Bath law firm Stone King is challenging colleagues and local people to get fit and help raise much-needed funds for deafblind children and adults.

The firm has teamed up with the Fitness First gym in James Street West to launch a fun charity challenge in aid of Sense, a national organisation that helps people with sensory impairments enjoy more independent lives.

To take part entrants simply sign up for at least one of five different evening classes at Fitness First between 20th – 24th April and pay just £5 to play.

For each play, entrants enter a prize draw. Classes include spinning and body pumping and no membership is required.

There are some great prizes to be won including an iPad mini, 6-month membership at Fitness First and a signed Bath Rugby shirt.

All donations will go to Sense which is Stone King’s chosen charity for the year.

Tom Johnson, Solicitor at Stone King, said: “Our Fitness First Charity Challenge is a fun way to get fit while helping to support a charity that does such great work.

“There are also some amazing prizes on offer but classes are filling up fast so sign up now.”

Sue Piper, Head of Corporate Fundraising at Sense, said: “The past year as Stone King’s charity partner has been of great value to Sense and enabled us to continue the provision of our services to the many deafblind children and adults who really need them.

“Working with a law firm like Stone King has been a tremendous example of how organisations, who place great value on social responsibility, can have a positive impact on communities by working closely with a charity partner.

“I have been particularly impressed by the enthusiasm and creativity shown by all Stone King employees to drive this partnership forward to such a worthwhile conclusion.”

To sign up to a class phone Fitness First on 0844 5712807.

Once signed up entrants can pay to play by texting “SKFF51 and £5” to 70070.

Winners will be listed on the Fitness First website from 27th April.
