The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa has launched a partnership with Tesla Motors, becoming the only hotel in Bath to offer its residents exclusive access to charging points for the sustainable electric cars.

In its mission to accelerate the world’s transition to clean energy, Tesla will be installing three destination chargers on-site at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, making it easy for guests with electric vehicles to keep powered up at no cost during their visit to Bath.

This will come as welcome news to the UK’s 12,000 Tesla owners and other electric car owners, whom, if they stay at The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa, won’t need to worry about finding a charging point upon their arrival in Bath.

The chargers deliver a full charge overnight, ready for guests’ journeys home the following day.

The chargers can be used by any Tesla models and any electric car with a Type Two charge port.

Tesla owners, arriving in their Tesla, who are staying at the property for the first time will also enjoy a complimentary bottle of Taittinger Champagne as they settle into their room or suite.
