Minuteman Press in Bath has installed a Xerox Versant® 80 Press to meet increased customer demand and achieve same-day turnarounds for its wide range of print jobs.

As a commercial printer with a high street presence, currently employing 15 staff and growing, the Xerox Premier Partner provides a variety of print materials for clients of all sizes, from small photocopying jobs to brochures, variable data mailshots, business cards and flyers.

With a growing client base expecting ever faster turnarounds, Minuteman Press required a solution that could keep up with demand while producing materials of the highest quality.

The Versant 80 provides production press capabilities with walk-up simplicity, offset-quality performance and automated features that remove the guesswork out of optimising image quality, colour and registration.

Printing at 80 pages-per-minute (ppm), the device delivers Ultra HD, 1200 x 1200 x 10-bit image quality at 2400 x 2400 dpi.

“In the quick print sector, customers rightly demand rapid turnarounds,” said Dave Dixon, sales and marketing director, Minuteman Press.

“With this investment we continue to support our ongoing growth and resilience as a business, producing materials of a quality that sets us apart.”

The new press joins a variety of other Xerox devices at Minuteman Press including the Xerox Colour 1000 Press, Xerox D110 Copier/Printer and Xerox Colour 560 Printer.

“Minuteman Press continues to see impressive growth, proving it can provide the highest quality materials whilst managing tight turnarounds,” said Mike Holyoake, general manager, Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox U.K.

“This investment enables the company to increase its output productivity and achieve even greater levels of quality.”
