The Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel has invested in state-of-the-art facilities, with features including IC6 Myride indoor spin bikes, which allow users to transport their cycle training to the Italian Alps.

As part of ongoing spa and leisure upgrades, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, the UK’s largest independent hotel group, is in the process of a £2.5m investment programme at 16 Vital Health and Wellbeing Clubs across the UK.

The modern facilities already on offer at the Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel will be fitted with the latest gym technology from renowned health and training brand Life Fitness.

The suite will also have both the SE3 interactive cardio machine and PowerMill Climber which have easy to navigate start-up screens as well as integrated video streaming and internet compatibility.

The new equipment is supplemented by the Life Fitness’ SYNRGY station – it enables members of all abilities to train independently or in a small group using eight unique training spaces, including a dedicated area for suspension training – creating an exciting environment for Circuit and High Intensity Interval Training.

Federico Aresti, Regional Managing Director at Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel: “At a time of year when many of our guests and members are on a health kick following a busy festive season, the investment at Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel confirms our commitment to providing guests with the best state-of-the-art fitness and spa facilities.”

“We are excited to continue to provide market leading facilities – and build on our already high standards.”
