On Saturday 19th March, the businesses of Kingsmead Square will be holding a cake sale from 11am – 4pm in aid of Sport Relief, with cakes donated by businesses and homemade by local bakers on sale for a small donation.

Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives.

The money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives, across the UK and the world’s poorest communities.

It all leads up to the Sport Relief weekend and a fantastic night of TV on the BBC.

Emma Savage, organiser and business owner of Grace & Ted said: “I wanted to do something to support Sport Relief however, not being particularly sporty I thought the businesses in Kingsmead Square could team up to bake and sell cakes instead!

“Every little helps and we’d love to see as many locals as possible in the Square to enjoy a cuppa and some cake for this brilliant cause.”
