IPL, a Bath-based full-services consultancy and IT solutions provider, has announced the launch of its Business Analysis Academy.
The Academy will provide up to 20 graduates per year with a dedicated three-year training programme drawing on IPL’s extensive Consultancy and Business Analysis expertise with clients as diverse as GlaxoSmithKline, BP, FirstGroup and the RSPCA.
The Academy will scour the UK’s top universities and higher education establishments to recruit talented individuals, who will enter a three-year graduate programme that blends training, mentoring and real-world Business Analysis assignments, leading to recognised British Computer Society (BCS) certifications at Foundation, Practitioner and Diploma levels.
Once complete, the individuals will be fast-tracked into IPL’s established Business Analysis practice.
Richard Shreeve, IPL’s Consultancy Director, who will oversee the Academy, said: “Within our client base we’re increasingly seeing greater demand for highly trained BAs. And the intensive training we’ll be giving these individuals means our clients will benefit from the best Business Analysts in the business.
“We’re going to do this by delivering an intensive three-year training programme, backed by best practice methods and recognised certifications, and that benefits from ongoing training and mentoring from our experienced Business Analysts.
“Those who successfully graduate from the IPL Business Analysis Academy will come out as world-class Business Analysts, capable of steering the most critical business change programmes.”
IPL’s Business Analysis Academy is a dedicated three-year induction process that sees staff at all levels working towards recognised certifications such as BCS Practitioner, BCS International Diploma, TOGAF and Lean Six Sigma Practitioner.
