Bath-based Mogers has been named the country’s Law Firm of the Year in the prestigious LawNet Awards 2013.

The award was given to Mogers for demonstrating overall excellence and significant progress over the last 12 months as part of their wider business strategy.

Steven Treharne, Managing Partner, who is celebrating his 20th anniversary of working for the company, was delighted to receive the trophy at the LawNet annual conference dinner held at Staverton Park in Daventry.

The accolade comes just weeks after five lawyers from the firm were named as leaders in their field in the legal profession’s ‘Bible’, Chambers UK 2014 Guide and after two of its team were featured in the Legal 500 UK; another prestigious guide to the country’s top lawyers.

Mr Treharne said: “This is the culmination of a fabulous year for us at Mogers. I am delighted and proud of everyone in the team whose hard work has enabled us to be recognised in this way.

“We strive to make our clients lives as easy as possible and this award shows the belief that our clients have in our service and its delivery.

“To receive prestigious recognition such as this three times in a matter of weeks is a reflection of the ethos behind the company and the dedication of all who are here.

“Providing user friendly professional service to clients is key to our business and we recognise the importance of building relationships and it is their testimonials on the work we do which provides the evidence of our commitment.

“We are also very much involved in the community we serve and have raised thousands of pounds for local good causes as well as giving our time to local initiatives such as The Bath Bid and the city’s first co-working business hub ‘The Guild’ aimed at giving start-ups a chance to get established.”
