The former boss of Bath’s Moles nightclub has taken back the lease on the property in George Street after a chance of the current operator going into administration.
The landlord of the nightclub, and also the former operator, Phil Andrews put up posters yesterday telling customers that he had taken back the lease of the club and that the current lease was now ended.
The firm which was running it had held the lease from Mr Andrews since 2009.
In the poster, Mr Andrews says that he re-claimed the lease after the current operator Moles Venues Ltd informed him that they were going into administration.
The club remains open and last night said: “As far as customers go, at the moment we’re open as normal with all nights and bookings intact. Any more news and we’ll let you know.“
