A delegation from a University in Lithuania has visited the City of Bath College to get advice on setting up a new Spa Management course.
City of Bath College boasts a popular spa and state of the art beauty therapy facilities in its new £5million Roper Building. It also has close links with the Thermae Bath Spa – one of the UK’s top tourist destinations.
The Lithuanian visitors toured the College’s facilities and spoke with lecturers and students about the spa courses run at the College. They also enjoyed lunch at the College’s Shrubbery Restaurant.
Di Rowe, Complementary Therapies lecturer, said: “We had been recommended by the Thermae Bath Spa as a good college for the Lithuanian delegation to visit, which was a real honour.
“It was a pleasure to host the visitors and talk them through the range of popular spa courses that we offer at City of Bath College. I know they found the visit very useful and will be using the knowledge they gained on their trip to help them make their own courses a success.”
