On Thursday, Bath was featured twice on the BBC’s Crimewatch programme. Avon and Somerset Police requested help via the monthly show on BBC1 to help catch the criminals featured below.
Bath Takeaway GBH Attack
The victim had been out in the City Centre with his friends on the night of Monday 9 May, 2011.
They left a nightclub at around 2.15am on Tuesday 10 May and went to local takeaway called Bodrum’s on Broad Street.
The victim waited outside after ordering some food, where he and his friends started talking to a group of men.
During the conversation one of the men – dressed in a body warmer – punched the victim using his left hand.
The victim was knocked over the railings and into the road by the force of the impact.
The suspect then walked off.
The victim suffered a fractured jaw as a result of the attack.

Updated – Wanted: Robert Stevens
Fifty-six-year-old Robert Stevens – otherwise know as Robert Melias – robbed a bookmakers at knifepoint in Bath in September 2011.
Police don’t believe that it is the first offence he’s committed. Stevens – who has links across the West Country – has various tattoos including a panther and the word ‘City’ on his left arm and the letters ‘B.O.B’ on his right hand.

Avon and Somerset Police have arrested a 56-year-old man in connection with a number of robberies, one at Corals bookmakers in North Parade Buildings on September 16.
It follows an appeal for information on the BBC’s Crimewatch programme last week, when CCTV pictures of the incident were broadcast.
Robert Stevens, of no fixed address, was arrested on Sunday, Nov 6 in Yeovil after a call from a member of the public.
He has been charged with robbing a female member of staff at Corals in Bath of £1155. He has also been charged with three other robberies, two in Bristol and one on Weymouth where a total of nearly £4500 in cash was taken.
