Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are asking for help to identify a man we would like to talk to in connection with a racially aggravated assault.

It happened outside a burger van in Orange Grove when there was an incident over perceived queue-jumping.

A 27-year old man was racially abused and then punched, suffering a black eye and a slight cut to his nose.

It happened at around 2.30am on Sunday 15th July but clear CCTV images have only now become available to police.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV picture, or the man himself, is asked to contact us at Bath police station on 101 or via their online form here.

You can call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org. They will never ask for your name or trace your call.

A larger image of the man is available on the Avon and Somerset Police website here.
