Avon and Somerset Police in Bath are asking for help to trace a man involved in an attempted robbery near Homebase in Pines Way.
A 20-year-old woman was walking home through the car park when a man grabbed her handbag. Nothing was stolen and he ran off, leaving the victim shocked and with a minor cut to her leg.
It happened at around 2.20am on Thursday 23rd August.
Police have a detailed description of the man involved. He is white, aged between 18-25, around 6ft 2ins tall and of medium build. He had light coloured, long stubble, almost a beard.
He was wearing a black jumper with the hood up, with no zip and with a pocket along the front. He had on black tracksuit bottoms, hemmed at the bottom with three red stripes running down the sides and ending at the knee. On his feet he had white adidas trainers, described as scruffy, with three black stripes.
